Job Description:

The Marketing Manager is responsible for the creation, implementation, and budgeting of the company’s marketing plan; and will ensure the quality and accuracy of all material related to the Transcon brand. The Marketing Manager will work closely with the Executive team, Marketing Team, Agencies, and staff to achieve overall objectives.

Specific Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Marketing Budget - Create and track the yearly marketing budget.
  • Management Team - Provide input during the management team meetings to help guide the growth, direction, and strategy of the company.
  • Marketing Collateral - Work together with the Marketing Team and agencies to manage the company’s marketing collateral and oversee their creation of the advertising templates and pieces.
  • Print Advertising - Maintain win-win relationships with existing newspaper and magazine vendors, and consistently look for new print advertising opportunities.
  • Event/sponsorship – Manage sponsorship and event relationships, negotiating yearly or event-based rates. Co-ordinate all on-ground activations.
  • Online Advertising - Work with Agencies to oversee all digital marketing initiatives and ensure it is consistent with print advertising and that our website is on the cutting edge of technology.
  • Social Media - Work with Marketing Team and agencies to develop and implement social media initiatives.
  • Success Tracking - Implement methods to track the effectiveness of advertising avenues and marketing tools.
  • Other Duties not limited to - Newletter, Mailer campaign, Advertising, photography management, etc.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Post-graduate degree and at least 3 years working in the professional world required
  • Background in real estate or development marketing will be preferred.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, & Power Point)
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain effective and positive working relationships with internal and external customers.
